UX Developer Freshers - Solution Design
**Location:** Hyderabad (Work from Office) **Type:** Full-time | 5 Days a Week **Experience:** 0-2 Years ## About Bluecopa Bluecopa is building the next-generation finance operations platform for high-growth companies. Our mission is to help finance teams automate, analyse, and act faster on their data — enabling smarter decisions and accelerating business outcomes. We’re a product-driven team that takes interface quality seriously. Finance software has a long history of bad UX. We’re changing that — and this role sits at the centre of that effort. ## The Role We’re looking for a Junior UX / UI Developer with 0–2 years of experience who’s excited about both sides of the craft — design thinking and frontend code. You won’t own the design system on day one. You’ll learn it, contribute to it, and grow into bigger ownership as you go. You’ll work closely with senior designers and engineers, ship real features, and get hands-on with both UI design and React development from the start. We don’t expect mastery. We do expect curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to take feedback and iterate. If you genuinely care about how interfaces look, feel, and behave — and you want to build, not just design — this is the right role. ## What You’ll Do ### Design * **Design System Contribution:** Contribute to Bluecopa’s design system — components, patterns, and documentation — under the guidance of senior designers. * **UX Audits:** Help conduct UX audits on shipped features and turn observations into prioritised improvements alongside the team. * **Ideation:** Communicate design ideas clearly through sketches, wireframes, diagrams, or any tool that gets the point across (Figma not required). * **Feature Design:** Work through UI problems on smaller features — forms, tables, filters, dashboards — with mentorship on the harder calls. * **Usability Reviews:** Help run lightweight usability reviews and synthesise feedback into design improvements. * **Attention to Detail:** Pay attention to the details: spacing, alignment, hierarchy, empty states, error states. ### Development * **React Implementation:** Build UI components and screens in React, translating designs into working interfaces. * **AI-Assisted Coding:** Use AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, or similar) effectively to ship faster — while staying in control of the output. * **API Integration:** Wire UI to backend APIs — handle loading, empty, and error states properly. * **Design Tokens:** Implement design tokens in code (CSS variables, Tailwind config, or equivalent) and keep design and code in sync. * **Engineering Collaboration:** Collaborate with backend engineers when API shapes need to evolve to serve the UI better. ### Systems & Quality * **Component Library:** Maintain and extend the component library so engineers can self-serve. * **Visual QA:** Review your own and others’ work for visual consistency — catch regressions before they ship. * **Documentation:** Document the components and patterns you build clearly enough that the next person doesn’t have to ask. ## What We’re Looking For ### Design (Mandatory) * **Experience:** 0–2 years of experience designing UI — internships, side projects, freelance, or school work all count, as long as you can walk us through the thinking. * **Portfolio:** A portfolio (or 2–3 case studies) showing how you think, not just final shots. Process, iterations, and tradeoffs matter more than polish. * **Visual Communication:** Ability to communicate design ideas visually — sketches, wireframes, or diagrams. Figma familiarity is a plus but not required. * **Design Fundamentals:** Strong fundamentals: typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour, contrast — and the eye to notice when something is off. * **Domain Interest:** Genuine interest in dense, functional interfaces: tables, filters, forms, dashboards, multi-step flows. ### Development (Mandatory) * **React Fundamentals:** Working knowledge of React — components, props, state, core hooks. You’ve built something you can show us. * **Prototyping:** Comfortable taking a sketch, wireframe, or written spec and turning it into working UI. * **AI Tooling:** Practical experience (or strong willingness) to use AI coding assistants to move faster — driving the output, not blindly accepting it. * **API Consumption:** Can consume REST APIs and handle loading, empty, and error states. * **Web Basics:** Solid HTML and CSS fundamentals — you understand how the browser actually works. * **Styling:** Familiar with Tailwind or a similar utility-first approach. * **Version Control:** Comfortable with Git basics — branches, PRs, code review. ### Ways of Working * **Curiosity:** Curious by default — you ask why, not just what. * **Feedback Loop:** Take feedback well and iterate without getting defensive. * **Communication:** Communicate clearly in writing and in person. * **Flexibility:** Comfortable working in a small team where roles flex and you’ll occasionally pick up things outside your title. ### Good to Have * Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools. * Exposure to TypeScript. * Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG basics). * Familiarity with charting libraries (Recharts, ECharts, D3, or similar). * Interest in finance, data, or enterprise SaaS products. * Side projects, open source contributions, or anything that shows you build things outside work. * **Data-Backed Mindset:** Comfortable making judgement calls when you don’t have all the answers, but once an idea is in the wild, the data leads. You set up instrumentation, define what “working” looks like, and double down or kill based on what you see — not what you expected. ## Mindset * **Dual-Discipline Passion:** You care about how interfaces look, feel, and behave — and you want to be the one who builds them, not just hands them off. You’re as comfortable opening a code editor as opening a design tool. You don’t think “that’s an engineering problem” or “that’s a design problem” — you think it’s a product problem. * **The "Micro" Eye:** You notice the spacing that’s 4px off, the hover state nobody added, the loading state nobody designed. You don’t have all the answers yet, but you ask good questions and you’re hungry to learn from the people around you.

Principal Implementation Data Architect
# Principal Implementation Data Architect **Function:** Professional Services / Customer Solutions **Reports to:** Head of Professional Services (Delivery) **Location:** Hyderabad / Bengaluru (Work from Office) **Experience:** 10–12 years ## About the Team Professional Services is where a new Bluecopa customer’s data reality meets the platform. Bluecopa is an AI-native finance operations platform that centralizes transaction data from ERPs, payment gateways, banks and other systems to automate reconciliations and accelerate the financial close. For a platform whose value rests on accuracy, auditability and real-time sync, the way customer data is brought in, validated, and sent back out *is* the customer experience. This role owns that data backbone across customer engagements — from the first look at a customer’s landscape through to a clean, trusted, two-way data flow in production. ## Role Summary The Principal Implementation Data Architect is the senior technical authority for customer data onboarding at Bluecopa. You own the architecture and the standards: how we read a customer’s data landscape, which connectors we deploy, how we prove the data can be trusted, how we size ingestion responsibly, how we keep everything auditable, and how we complete the handshake back to a customer’s ERP or downstream systems. You lead the most complex and strategic engagements yourself, and you set the patterns that let every other engagement go faster and safer. You are equal parts hands-on architect, customer-facing advisor, and practice builder. ## Key Responsibilities * **End-to-End Data Architecture:** Own the end-to-end data architecture for customer implementations: assess each customer’s data landscape, source systems, and data maturity, and define the right ingestion and integration approach. * **Connector Strategy:** Define connector strategy — determine which Bluecopa connectors apply for a given customer, identify gaps, and specify the approach where a standard connector does not exist. * **Data Validation Standards:** Establish and own data validation standards across completeness, correctness, and veracity, so downstream reconciliations and close processes run on data the customer can trust. * **Reference Designs:** Architect ingestion pipelines that feed downstream solutions, and define the reusable patterns, templates, and reference designs the wider Professional Services team builds against. * **Sizing & Capacity Planning:** Own ingestion sizing and capacity planning — produce defensible approximations that account for data volume, cost, and velocity, and set the guardrails the team uses to size new engagements. * **Audit & Enforced Lineage:** Define and enforce audit best practices — data lineage, controls, reconciliation checkpoints, and traceability — embedded into every pipeline by design. * **Reverse-ETL Architecture:** Architect reverse-ETL pipelines, APIs, and data formats, and own the integration design that completes the handshake with the target ERP or external system. * **Technical Point of Contact:** Act as the senior technical point of contact for customer data and engineering stakeholders during scoping and delivery; support pre-sales and solution scoping for complex or strategic accounts. * **Practice Scale & Productization:** Productize what works — turn repeated bespoke work into reusable connectors, sizing models, validation frameworks, and integration patterns so the practice scales. * **Team Mentorship:** Mentor Senior and other Implementation Data Architects; review designs, raise the technical bar, and grow the team’s capability. ## Required Qualifications * **Experience:** 10–12 years in data engineering, data integration, or solutions/implementation architecture, with a substantial portion in customer-facing or delivery roles. * **Scale Delivery:** Proven track record architecting and delivering production data pipelines (ETL/ELT) at scale, ideally for transaction-intensive or financial data. * **Technical Depth:** Deep, hands-on expertise with SQL and a programming language such as Python, and with modern data pipeline and orchestration tooling (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, or equivalents). * **Integration Experience:** Strong integration experience across REST APIs, webhooks, file/SFTP-based feeds, and message-based integration, including reverse-ETL patterns back into operational systems. * **ERP System Ingestion:** Direct experience integrating with ERP and finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally) and with payment, banking, or transactional data sources. * **Infrastructure Costing:** Demonstrated ability to size and cost data ingestion — translating volume and velocity into infrastructure, cost, and performance estimates. * **Governance & Compliance:** Strong grounding in data quality and validation methodology, and in audit, lineage, and governance practices; familiarity with compliance contexts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) is expected. * **Stakeholder Communication:** Excellent communication skills — able to be the trusted technical voice in front of customer finance and engineering leaders. ### Preferred * Experience in a SaaS professional services, forward-deployed, or solutions architecture function. * Background in financial operations, reconciliations, or the close process, or in FP&A / finance data domains. * Experience building reusable connector frameworks or integration platforms. * Cloud data platform depth (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks). ## What Success Looks Like * New customers reach a clean, validated, production data flow faster and with fewer surprises. * Sizing estimates hold up against real production volume and cost. * Audit and lineage are built in, not bolted on, across every engagement. * The team has reusable patterns instead of reinventing each onboarding from scratch.

You'll work closely with product and platform teams and will be responsible for the quality and reliability of what you ship. ## What You'll Do * **Core Java Development:** Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. * **API Development:** Build robust web services and APIs using Python and Flask. * **Event-Driven Architecture:** Implement event-driven architectures using NATS messaging — pub/sub, request/reply, and queue groups. * **Orchestration & Deployment:** Deploy, manage, and optimize applications in Kubernetes environments. * **Microservices Design:** Build and maintain microservices following good design patterns and principles. * **Technical Leadership:** Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions. * **Performance Tuning:** Troubleshoot and optimize application performance in containerised environments. * **CI/CD & DevOps:** Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices. * **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, build, and deliver features. ## What We're Looking For ### Core (All Mandatory) * **Experience:** 3–4 years of experience in backend software development. * **Java Stack:** Strong proficiency in Java — Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security. * **Python Stack:** Hands-on experience with Python and Flask, including REST APIs and SQLAlchemy. * **Messaging Systems:** Working knowledge of NATS messaging patterns for real-time and event-driven systems. * **Container Orchestration:** Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets). * **Architecture:** Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. ### Infrastructure & Tooling * **Containerisation:** Familiarity with containerisation technologies — Docker. * **DevOps:** Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * **Version Control:** Comfort with Git and collaborative development workflows. ### Web & Systems * **Protocols:** Good understanding of web technologies: HTTP, REST, WebSocket, gRPC. * **Databases:** Experience with SQL databases; NoSQL is a plus. ### Good to Have * Experience with OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing and metrics. * Knowledge of Open Lineage for data lineage tracking. * Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, GCP, or Azure. * Experience working in agile development environments. ## Mindset * **High Ownership:** You care about code quality, not just shipping. You're comfortable with ambiguity, proactive about surfacing problems early, and invested in the reliability of what you build. * **Autonomy:** You don't need to be told twice. You understand the problem, ask the right questions, and get it done."
