Role Summary

As a Domain (Finance) Consultant, you are the authority on how enterprise finance actually works — and on how it should be configured in Bluecopa. You own the finance side of every customer implementation: translating complex financial workflows into accurate, controlled, and reusable platform configurations that are right the first time and sign-off ready.

This is a high-impact role where you will directly lead finance discovery with C-suite stakeholders, eliminate configuration rework loops, and set the structural standard for how Bluecopa scales finance delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance Process Ownership: Engage deeply with customers' finance and data teams. Understand their current workflows, map optimized approaches, and accurately convert real-world processes into native Bluecopa configurations.
• Finance Rules Accuracy: Define and validate reconciliation rules, complex matching logic, accounting treatments, multi-entity consolidation settings, and exception handling protocols to ensure setups are correct by design.
• Zero Configuration Rework: Drive thorough front-end scoping and secure early finance sign-off so requirements are captured perfectly the first time, protecting downstream delivery from development loops.
• Sign-off Readiness: Run User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from the finance side and own functional sign-off, ensuring all reconciliations tie out completely before production go-live.
• Internal Controls: Design and configure stringent financial controls, segregation of duties (SoD), clear audit trails, and financial close-readiness into every deployment topology.
• Solution Reusability: Build reusable finance templates, domain accelerators, and industry playbooks so each implementation makes subsequent onboardings faster and more standardized.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of experience implementing finance operations, financial systems consulting, corporate controllership, or leading enterprise finance transformation projects.
• Domain Expertise: Deep, hands-on expertise across Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles—including granular reconciliations, multi-entity consolidation, ledger mechanics, and core accounting principles.
• Governance & Controls: Strong command of enterprise financial controls, structural segregation of duties, financial close management, and audit-readiness practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to smoothly lead discovery conversations with finance stakeholders and comfortably command a room containing senior finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, VPs).
• Process Standardisation: Demonstrated ability to take fragmented, poorly documented finance processes and mold them into standardized, reusable, and sign-off-ready system configurations.
